What's New

Well long time no talk! Time has passed since I've been connected with you again. So much has been going on, I haven't had a minute to sit and blog for a bit. It makes me sad when I can't post. I never want to lose my connection with you.
What's new:

  • Well, as I was just writing this, my laptop decided to crash so I think it's about time to retire this thing for something a little bit more reliable. Funny fact, Cody gifted me this laptop for playing video games, which I later ended up gaming on a desktop. Gaming on laptops is not easy, and the system is a lot less powerful versus the desktop. So my Sims are happily living there. This laptop is also TOO large with a huge touch pad that is overly sensitive. It makes editing photos and writing quite the challenge.
  • I've been living out of a suitcase pretty much every weekend. In fact, I don't even wear normal clothes, and I mean jeans, shorts etc, at all during the week! When I'm not in my work clothes, which is all black everything, I'm in my work out gear or sweats. My life went from 0 to 100 real fast.
  • Cody is a racing machine. I knew it was a huge part of his life, but now being apart of it as well, I never realized how much he dedicates his life to it. We are literally on the road at least once a week, racing somewhere. If not, twice in a weekend. Sometimes I get drained and feel like I need a good solid week to recover. But I'd do anything to support his dreams, as he does just the same for mine.
  • I've been trying to find different ways to express my creativity. A good thought that has always been in the back of my head is photography. I don't think of myself as a professional, and most likely never will, but I truly find joy in fun adventurous shoots that make you see the world in a different view. I also LOVE editing photos to bring out its natural beauty a little more.
  • I've gotten back into my second Instagram account (JessWhoWanders) to kind of take it a different direction than my lifestyle/travel one. Although they may seem the same, I find I have less pressure to upload photos on my JessWhoWanders account versus the other. If you want to follow along, make sure to follow! Maybe in the future, I will only have one. I'm just still trying to figure out what I want.
  • I'm trying to prioritize my life a little better as I've been struggling with a blog schedule, a Instagram schedule, replying to business emails, maintaining a relationship, barely seeing my family or friends, and working late nights or weekends. Just last week it really took a toll on me. I feel like I've been losing people in my life because of how busy I am. Sometimes its hard making everyone happy, but the most important person to make happy is myself. I hope and pray those nearest to my heart support me through my roller coaster journey and know I think of them very often. I have a small group of friends, and the last thing I want to do is be completely drifted away.
This is all just a recap of my crazy life currently. I don't think it will be slowing down anytime soon. I wish there were 5 of me to get everything done. But its also a learning experience as well.

Until next time,
