Let's Go Wandering

Happy Thursday! I can't believe that it's already March 2nd. This year is flying by so incredibly fast. I also can't believe I haven't posted anything since Valentines day. I feel that it wasn't that long ago!

A while ago, I posted a few photos from this day and was getting a lot of questions asking about my sweater and where did I get it from.

First and foremost, I can't believe we came across such a beautiful hiking trail in the mountains of Arroyo Seco. I truly felt like we were no longer in California. Second, when I go out for walks or hikes, I always try to dress appropriately. We weren't planning on walking too long, but ended up walking about 2 hours into the hills. I wasn't prepared with my shoes as I love my Vans, but they are not made for walking. Trust me!

People may say "You don't even know who Van Halen is" when you wear band tees/sweaters like this. Yes, you can literally find these everywhere! Also I'm very much aware of Eddie Van Halen. My parents always played that type of music my entire childhood. When I was younger, I begged my dad to take me to a Rolling Stones concert. He said it wasn't a good idea, which at that time I didn't realize how crazy they were! But he did end up buying one of the concerts on VHS (you know, prior to the DVDs and Blue Rays) and we had our own concert at home!

So when I come across band tees, I always find myself adding them into my wardrobe. Lately, Forever 21 has stolen my heart, and money...lol! I can't walk into that store without buying SOMETHING. Its a real problem.

I luckily grabbed the last one in my store, but they still carry it online! You can find that here.

Life update....
I realize how M.I.A I've been from social media and my dearly beloved blog. Although not completely gone, you can always catch glimpses of my life on Snapchat (JESSICAMARIE916) or my Instagram (JESSICA.CARBAJAL).

California literally had a massive storm, so bad I wasn't able to get to work one day. Every single way to get to my job was CLOSED! Due to either mudslides or down trees.

I've been pretty tough on myself. Some days just straight up lacking any form of motivation. I wake up, get myself ready for work, work a full 8 hour day, come home and pass out. I've been so exhausted that my body and mind both needed a break. I have now held my self accountable and have set a strict schedule starting next week. Monday's will be my main blog post day, adding some Friday's along the way if I'm not out and about wandering this planet, and have decent WiFi.

I'm also really missing my YouTube community. I currently have two channels and I'm trying to decide if I should vlog on my Jessica Carbajal channel, or start fresh on my JessWhoWanders channel, as that's more of my travel persona. That decision is still yet undecided.

I just want to say I'm so grateful for your support. Without you, I could just easily give up. I want to keep growing and become more inspirational to all. I want to share life's ups and downs. I was just talking to a friend yesterday, stating that I can NOT just give up my blog. I've come so far that it can only grow more from here. I want to be able to travel more and share some pretty amazing experiences with you all. This is why I've now been set to a schedule that I'm going to be accountable for. I don't want to let you down.

So thank you again for being along for this crazy, wild, and sometimes weird life! Get excited for the future. I have some pretty busy weekends coming up. First, a photo shoot this weekend that I've collaborated with XOMandySue.com. Then following is the start of race season. Expect some posts about that! Then I'll be visiting Disneyland again! Woohoo!

Here's to a start of an amazing month.

Until next time loves!
