Breakfast Smoothie Bowl

Smoothie bowls are starting to become more popular as they can make for a trendy Instagram post, but they are truly delicious and you can customize them to your liking.

Strawberry Banana Smoothie Bowl

You'll need a handy dandy blender, 2 bananas, 6 to 8 strawberries, low fat yogurt and some ice. If you have a hard time blending the ingredients, add some skim milk or any type of liquid to help blend. Just be careful not to add too much as you want the consistency of the smoothie to be thick.

Once your smoothie is blended, pour it into a medium sized bowl and chop up some fresh fruits to sprinkle on top. I stuck with the theme and added half a banana, 4 strawberries chopped up, some raspberries and granola.

Again you can make this with any type of fruits, not just strawberries and bananas.
